ROAD USER CATEGORY BY CRUSH TYPE

From the below table, pedestrians are the most vulnerable category of road user category. It is estimated that 44% of people killed on the roads during the year 2021 were pedestrians. This trend is similar to that of the previous years. This could be so due to various variables, either these pedestrians are not conversant with the road safety rules or maybe because most motorists do not respect the pedestrians. All in all, it could be argued that the pedestrians do not respect the safety measures that are put in place for their own assistance.
